Donna Millar, Principal Donna trained at the Theatre School of Dance and Drama, Edinburgh. She holds B.A.T.D and I.D.T.A teaching certificates. Performance credits include Mother Goose - Sir John Wilson Town Hall, Jack & the Beanstalk- Dumfermline, Cinderella - Glasgow, Nyquest - Niro Productions Edinburgh, Baywatch Promotional Tour - Edinburgh, Rock Til You Drop Tour - United Kingdom, Dimensions in Dance - Canada, Kosovo Charity Concert - SECC Glasgow, Dancer for Parade Entertainment Team, Chris Miller Show - Mitchell Theatre Glasgow. Choreography credits include Wizard of Oz - Armadillo Theatre Glasgow, Dance Arena Summer School - Ayr, Wild Wild West - Academy of Theatre Arts Glasgow, Fame - Chryston High School, Brigadoon – Bohemians Falkirk, Take This and Girls Rloud Tribute Bands, backing dancers for Kylie, and Cher Tributes. Donna opened Confidance to combine her love of the arts with her passion for people.
Diane Watson, Ballet Diane returned to Scotland in 2007 after performing all over the world. She left home at 15 to study and pursue a career in dance after winning the Inter – Calgary National Championships in Highland Dance in Canada. She started at her local school, The Sutherland School of Dance and Drama and continued her training to become professional in all disciplines at The Empire Theatre College for Performing Arts in Sunderland. Her work includes: MV Van Gogh cruise liner (Mediterranean & Caribbean), Beauty and the Beast (UK tour), Aladdin (Ireland tour), Cabaret in Menorca, Mallorca, Greece and Portugal, The Forgotten Nursery (National tour), Hey Diddle Diddle (National tour) and many more……. She was invited to teach for The Etoile International Ballet in Japan where she was resident for 8 months. This made her decide to retire from being a dancer and become a freelance teacher and choreographer. After studying and gaining her registered teaching status at The Royal Academy of Dance, she has taught at various schools across the country. She is thrilled to be teaching for Confidance Musical Theatre School and can’t wait to see them all turn into stars!!!!
